Description
This irrigation hose ball valve family combines an ST-A2 solar-powered controller with ball-valve and hose-connection arrangements. It is intended for agricultural hose-network installers, irrigation dealers and project buyers requiring remotely operated water delivery points. Connection details are configured to match the irrigation hose and pipework.
Applications
- Controlling irrigation hose branches in commercial field installations.
- Connecting a remotely operated valve to a compatible hose coupling arrangement.
- Project enquiries for a configurable master/slave arrangement operating two valve points.

Irrigation Hose Ball Valve Selection
Specify the complete hose connection before ordering: hose inside diameter, coupling type, thread standard and retention method. A listed De pipe dimension is not a universal hose size or thread designation. The brochure describes internal-thread and hose-interface arrangements, with a configurable one-master/two-valve control option. Confirm exactly which actuators, couplings and control functions are included; the pictured paired assembly is representative.
Technical Configuration
Listed values describe the available configuration. Confirm the current datasheet, dimensional drawing and itemized supply scope before ordering.
| Item | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Controller family | ST-A2 |
| Valve arrangement | Ball valve with hose interface; confirm internal thread and coupling standard |
| Listed inlet / outlet sizes | De90 / De110 for each; verify adapter and hose fit |
| Power | Solar panel + lithium battery |
| Communication | 4G configuration; verify destination bands and SIM setup |
| Listed actuator torque | ≥100 N·m |
| Body material | PP with glass-fiber reinforcement, listed configuration |
| Ambient / medium temperature | −20 to 60°C / 0 to 50°C |
| Options | Pressure sensor, flow meter, external solar panel; master/slave arrangement by confirmation |
Installation and Integration Checks
- Confirm the hose pressure rating, coupling retention and support arrangement at the valve; do not transfer hose pull or bending loads to an unsupported valve body.
- Provide the water source, filtration conditions and expected sediment so seals and maintenance access can be reviewed.
- Define the required behavior of each valve in a master/slave package, including communication loss and low-battery conditions.
- Check solar exposure, switching duty, mobile coverage and platform access for the actual location.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it connect to any layflat irrigation hose?
No. Coupling and hose dimensions, pressure rating and thread standard must match. Supply a drawing or measured dimensions of the intended hose connection.
Does one controller always operate two valves?
No. The two-valve master/slave arrangement is configurable. An itemized quotation should identify each supplied controller/actuator and the supported commands.
Can valve position replace a flow meter?
No. Opening position is not a measured delivered volume. Specify a compatible flow meter and verified control logic for volume-based scheduling.
