Selection and System Integration
Allow sufficient distance between the sensor and the highest liquid surface to stay outside the blind zone. Check the beam angle, tank geometry and range of the selected version before designing the mounting position.
Installation and Application Notes
Foam, vapor, condensation, turbulent surfaces and internal tank structures can affect echoes. Confirm suitability for the actual medium and installation. This is an atmospheric-pressure configuration, and RS485 output is not listed in this sheet.
Sample Evaluation
Before a larger order, check the selected sample against the agreed specification using representative operating conditions. Confirm wiring, power, output units and controller communication, then record reference measurements and any configuration changes. Agree on the required documents, packing and replacement components as part of the quotation.

Is the full measuring range available right up to the probe face?
No. The listed blind zone must be maintained above the highest liquid level.
