Selection and System Integration
Identify the flume or weir type, dimensions and rating equation before selection. Confirm the reference datum, measurement position and the flow range calculated from the actual structure.
Installation and Application Notes
This device measures distance/head and derives flow using an appropriate hydraulic relationship. It does not establish the flow rate of any arbitrary ditch or river from level alone. Maintain the blind zone and assess downstream submergence and deposits.
Sample Evaluation
Before a larger order, check the selected sample against the agreed specification using representative operating conditions. Confirm wiring, power, output units and controller communication, then record reference measurements and any configuration changes. Agree on the required documents, packing and replacement components as part of the quotation.

Can I install it above any channel and obtain flow automatically?
No. The channel needs a validated head-to-flow relationship and a correctly positioned measurement point.
