Selection and System Integration
Select a supply variant and mounting height appropriate to the application. Check whether the controller requires instantaneous readings, averages or gust values; the sampling and averaging rules must be established during integration.
Installation and Application Notes
Mount the cups clear of surrounding obstructions and inspect moving parts during routine maintenance. A single wind reading does not establish safe spraying conditions or predict irrigation distribution without site-specific assessment.
Sample Evaluation
Before a larger order, check the selected sample against the agreed specification using representative operating conditions. Confirm wiring, power, output units and controller communication, then record reference measurements and any configuration changes. Agree on the required documents, packing and replacement components as part of the quotation.
Application FAQ
Does it also measure wind direction?
No. A separate wind-direction sensor is needed if direction data is required.
